Booking Terms and Conditions
These Booking Terms apply to Plas Rhos House our officers, employees and agents (‘We’/’Us’/’Our’) and the person or legal entity making the Booking or to whom we supply services in respect of the Booking (‘You/Your’). These Booking Terms are governed by English and Welsh law and apply to all Bookings except where We agree in writing other terms. By making a Booking You are deemed to accept these Booking Terms.
Bookings are made and a contract between you and us comes into effect when we accept a reservation from you. A deposit of the first night’s accommodation is requested. Booking deposits must be paid for using an acceptable and valid Credit or Debit card.
For online bookings, a deposit of the total value of the first night’s rooms booked will be charged to the card number supplied to us via our secure online booking system, at the time of booking. We will accept a reservation when we have confirmed your reservation and received full payment of the price quoted to you. When a deposit is paid, the balance will be paid by you to us on either check-in or check-out.
You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18yrs to make a Booking.
When booking, the cardholder agrees that their credit or debit card also guarantees to pay for any additional costs incurred during their stay or to pay for any damage or loss of our property and for contravening the No-Smoking policy.
When an online Booking is confirmed, a reservation number is given. This number must be retained for access to the Booking details if cancellation or amendment is necessary. By making a Booking you are deemed to accept these Booking Terms.
All published rates include service and taxes where applicable at the current rate.
Rates are per room per night. If You have selected supplements they will be added to the total price of the Booking. Rates do not include other costs you may choose to incur during Your stay (unless otherwise stated).
Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should You change the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are subject to change.
You may have been made aware by your bank, that as of 30th June 2011, the UK Domestic Cheque Guarantee Scheme closed. This means that it will be no longer possible to guarantee a cheque under the Scheme after this date. With the closure of the above scheme, we will no longer be accepting personal cheques as a method of payment from 1st April 2013. We do still however accept all major debit and credit cards, for which we do not generally charge a transaction fee.
In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver Your requested accommodation, You will be offered alternate accommodation.
Arrival and departure
Check-in times are from 3pm and before 9pm. Check-in times outside of those specified must be confirmed with Us prior to arrival. The Check-out time is before 11am. A charge will be made for late check-outs subject to accommodation availability. Customers arriving later than the contracted time (9pm) will be deemed a no-show. On some occasions it may be possible to arrive later than these times if it is deemed a reasonable delay and if the customer informs Us before reception closes (by 9pm) that they have been delayed and are still intending to arrive.
Cancellations and Curtailment
If You cancel Your Booking within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival a charge equivalent to the first night's Booking price that includes any supplements selected by You will be levied.
If you need to cancel your booking more than 48 hours before the arrival date then the deposit paid will be refunded.
If whilst residing with us you require for any reason to curtail your stay then we will once again require a minimum of 48 hours notice so that we may attempt to re-let your accommodation. Curtailment with less notice will incur full payment for accommodation taken plus a minimum of a full charge for the next consecutive night. Any further charges will be dependent on a re-let of the said accommodation for the duration of the initial booking.
To amend Your Booking, call us directly using the number 01492 543698 or email us on email@example.com. If you amend Your Booking within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival, and as a result You cancel any room night with less than 48 hours notice a charge equivalent to the total price (including any supplements selected by You) for that room night may be levied.
The total amount payable for the Booking or a deposit will be charged to Your credit or debit card on arrival or at the time of Booking.
The balance for payment of Your stay including all additional goods and services purchased during Your stay must be paid in full on presentation of invoice at check-out by cash, credit or debit card.
For the comfort of all our guests, we operate a strict non-smoking policy throughout our house and request that all guests respect our wishes. The front outside patio area is a designated smoking area.
As a condition of booking, if it is found that a guest has been smoking within any room then a charge of £100 (one hundred pounds sterling) will be levied to the credit or debit card used in the initial booking, this charge will be used to cover cleaning costs & any loss of income should the room not be able to be re-sold immediately after departure. You must accept these terms.
Limited Parking is available free of charge to Residents. All cars are parked at their owners risk and Plas Rhos House does not accept any responsibility for damage or theft from vehicles parked within the premises. Plenty of Free off street parking is available nearby.
Conditions of stay
We have some standard rules that are designed to ensure that we comply with regulations relating to matters such as fire, health and safety, and to enhance the comfort and wellbeing of our guests. We reserve the right to not accept guests into the house that are deemed to be drunk and disorderly or under the influence of drugs and that may cause damage to the hotel property or disturb other guests enjoyment of the house. This means the booking will be cancelled and the first night's deposit is lost and any balance payable chargeable in full if the remaining nights are not resold by Us.
We reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to staff or other guests.
We reserve the right to refuse any 'same sex' group bookings, where it is found to be for 'stag' or 'hen' night.
Other than for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or misrepresentation, Our total liability to You is limited to the price of the Booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will We be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond Our reasonable control. You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to Us or our Our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.
We may process the information You provide to Us for the purposes notified by Us to the Information Commissioner. By making a Booking, You consent to this processing of information.
